Amid rising tension on the Korean peninsula, the sister of North Korea leader Kim Jong Un launched an insult-laden attack on the South Korean government.
Kim Yo Jong called South Korea's new President and his government "a running wild dog gnawing on a bone given by the US". She also called them "idiots who continue creating the dangerous situation".
Kim Yo Jong's verbal attack came days after South Korea's Foreign Ministry said that it was considering imposing more sanctions on North Korea over its recent barrage of missile tests.

Seoul said that it would also consider action against North Korea's hacking programme, which has become a new source of revenue for Pyongyang. This, in case North Korea undertakes a major provocation like a nuclear test.
Kim Jong Un's sister warned "the impudent and stupid" that American and South Korean sanctions will "add fuel" to the North's anger, and serve as a noose for its enemies.
