London beach cleaned by Indian diplomats, volunteers as part of G20 campaign

The Indian High Commission in the United Kingdom organised a mega beach cleaning drive at Brighton Beach in London on May 21, 2023.

The clean-up effort was organised as part of a "My Beach My Pride" campaign under India's G20 presidency.

The event saw encouraging participation from the local community, Indian officials said.

Indian High Commissioner to the UK Vikram Doraiswami and the Mayor of Brighton & Hove city council also addressed the gathering.
