The incident of two Manipur women being publicly stripped, sexually assaulted, and videographed has led to protests even outside India.

A demonstration against the horrible crime was organised in United Kingdom's capital London on July 26. It was organised by a group of Indian-origin women based in the UK.

The WNESN, or Women of North East India Support Network, waved placards outside the Indian High Commission, and then conducted a silent march to MK Gandhi's statue at Parliament Square.
