Time appeared to be running out for the occupants of the missing Titanic tourist submersible with rescuers unable to locate it.

Reports said that there were just 4-6 hours of breathable air left on the vessel by the early afternoon of June 22, India time.

USA, Canada, and France have deployed ships, submarines, planes, and robotic vessels to look for the tourist sub, especially in the area where sonar had detected loud "banging" noises.

The submersible with 5 occupants has been missing in the North Atlantic Ocean since June 18, when it descended underwater to visit the wreckage of the Titanic ship.
