Over 800 people have been killed in the powerful temblor that struck Morocco on Sept 8 damaging buildings from villages in the Atlas Mountains to the historic city of Marrakech.
The toll is expected to rise as rescuers struggle to reach the remote areas that have been hit hardest.
The famous Koutoubia Mosque, in Marrakech, built in the 12th century, suffered damage, but the extent was not immediately clear.
Moroccans also posted videos showing damage to parts of the famous red walls that surround the old city, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
