Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks or the Devil Comet, which is heading towards Earth is expected to explode once again on December 30.

According to experts, the comet violently explodes in the form of volcanic eruptions every 15 days, ejecting ice and gas.

According to SpaceWeather.com, ice volcanoes on the comet have erupted at least six times in 2023, with the previous explosion witnessed on December 14.

12P earned the moniker “Devil Comet" after previous eruptions caused it to distort into a horseshoe or horn-shaped celestial object.
