Myanmar's military rulers have been accused of conducting an airstrike on a village which killed around 100 people, as per reports.

The people were attending an event organised by those opposed to army rule in the country.

First a fighter jet dropped bombs directly into the crowd, and then a half hour later, a helicopter fired at the site, a witness told The Associated Press.

The attack took place outside Pazigyi village in Sagaing region at around 8 am on 11 April 2023.
