Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu remains defiant despite widespread protests in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem demanding an immediate ceasefire in Gaza to ensure the release of over 100 hostages still in Hamas captivity.

“I would define the end of the war in Gaza, when Hamas no longer rules Gaza," Netanyahu said at a rare press conference, insisting that IDF controls the Philadelphi corridor along Gaza's border with Egypt.

Thousands broke barricades and clashed with police outside Netanyahu’s residence in Jerusalem. Police responded with force, arresting dozens of demonstrators.
