The skyscrapers of Sydney peered out through a thick blanket of fog as Australia's largest city woke up in a shroud on Friday.
Aerial footage from showed the city and its outskirts covered by the fog with only some of its major landmarks still visible.
While Sydney Airport reported no cancellations, some ferry services were disrupted due to the low visibility.
