We all miss internet while on flights! And now it seems Russia is taking a leap as the state-owned Aeroflot Airline has made plans to bring Wi-Fi access to its planes. Russia’s Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev said that Wi-Fi on Russian planes will be available by 2028.  Aeroflot’s CEO Sergei Alexandrovsky said the proposal to provide internet service on planes was a popular demand and it will depend on operators whether the Wi-Fi will be free.  Under Western sanctions, Russian airlines have lost access to service upgrades and spare parts.
