Over 200 Flights Delayed, 36 Cancelled After Scissors Go Missing in Japan

Over two hundred flights were delayed and at least 36 cancelled over a pair of missing scissors in Japan. Reports said the delays and cancellation of flights at Japan’s New Chitose Airport happened after a pair of scissors went missing from a store near the boarding gates. 36 flights were canceled and 201 flights delayed after the security checks were halted for 2 hours. Airport officials said that the scissors which went mission on August 18 were discovered by a worker at the same store on August 19.
