Pakistan government’s official Twitter account was withheld on Saurday in India in response to a legal demand.
Sharing inputs on the disabling of the account, news agency ANI said "@GovtofPakistan account has been withheld in India in response to a legal demand," is seen while accessing the Twitter handle.
This is the second time that the Pakistan government’s handle has been withheld in India. Earlier the account was withheld in July but was reactivated.
According to Twitter guidelines, the microblogging site takes such action in response to a valid legal demand, such as a court order, ANI said. It may also deactivate an account if it "receives a valid and properly scoped request from an authorized entity.
