A day after a horrifying terror attack at a mosque in Pakistan's Peshawar, the country's defence minister compared the situation to India and Israel.

Khawaja Asif reportedly said on 31 January 2023 that worshippers haven't been killed during prayers in India and Israel, but it happened in Pakistan. The minister made the comments while speaking in the National Assembly, according to the news outlet Dawn.

In the suicide attack on 30 January at least 100 people died, while more than 200 were injured.
