Hundreds of protesters took to the streets of Srinagar in Indian-administered Kashmir on Friday to rally against Israel's conflict in Gaza.
The demonstration was held in observance of 'Jerusalem Day', also known as Al-Quds Day.
Protesters voiced anti-American and anti-Israeli sentiments through their chants.
Al-Quds Day falls on the last Friday of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and was declared by the late Iranian spiritual leader, Ayatollah Khomeini, as an international day of struggle against Israel and for the liberation of Jerusalem.
Al-Quds is the Arabic name for Jerusalem, home to the Al-Aqsa mosque, considered one of Islam's holiest sites.
