A heartwarming letter by Britain's Queen Elizabeth II to young Prince William has gone viral.
The undated handwritten letter to her grandson has surfaced about 2 months after her death.
It reads, “William, I hope you enjoy opening this each day, Granny".
The viral note which has been written on Buckingham Palace’s letterhead, was given to William on Christmas, as per an NDTV report.
UK’s Daily Mail in a report stated that the handwritten note was first put up for auction in December 2016.
A social media account claimed that the letter was bought from late Princess Diana’s former employee.
Since the time it was shared, the letter gained great traction with over 3700 likes and hundreds of retweets.
Queen Elizabeth II who passed away last month was the longest reigning monarch of Britain. Besides Prince William, she was also grandmother to her 7 other grandchildren including Prince Harry.
