Intense rainfall has hit villages in northeast China's Liaoning Province, causing flooding and landslides which has left more than 300 people stranded and communication in the area cut off.
Chinese media reported that over 7,000 people were evacuated in the city of Huludao.
Local authorities have deployed helicopters to help rescue and relocate people trapped by the flooding.
Rescue teams from across the province have also been sent to affected areas to provide assistance.
