Russia to acquire 500 new weapons systems, 1 million munitions in $55 million arms boost

As Russia prepares to retaliate at Ukraine for the Kursk incursion, Kremlin plans a big arms boost. Moscow has signed state contracts to buy over 500 weapons systems and more than 1 million munitions at the Army 2024 international arms forum.  The weapons contracts have been valued at a total of 500 billion rubles, or 55.6 million US dollars. It involves the supply of modernized heavy flamethrower systems, tanks, helicopters, guided missiles and anti-sabotage boats.
