A Ukrainian musician has reportedly been killed by Russian soldiers in the Moscow-controlled region of Kherson.
Ukraine's culture ministry in a Facebook post on October 16 claimed that Russian soldiers shot dead the musician at his house for refusing to participate in a concert in the Kherson.
The statement read that Yuriy Kerpatenko denied to take part in the concert because it was aimed at demonstrating 'betterment of peaceful life' in the Russia-controlled Kherson.
The regional authorities have ordered a claiming violations of war customs.
The musician had "categorically refused to cooperate with occupants" in the October 1 concert, that cost him his life, as per a report in The Guardian.
Kerpatenko had been part of anti-Russia rhetoric including defiant messages on his Facebook page until May this year.
