UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, who is of Indian origin, recounted a heart-warming tale of sharing sweets made by his mother, with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy during his trip to London.
Sunak revealed how his mother handed over the 'barfi' to him with much difficulty.
The PM said that he met Zelenskyy on the following Monday. The Ukrainian leader was "hungry", so Sunak shared the 'barfi' with him.
The UK PM said that his mother was very pleased that Zelenskyy had sweets made by her.
