Ukraine Foreign Minister Quits After Russia’s Deadliest Strike On Military Facility

The speaker of the Ukranian Parliament has said that country’s foreign minister Dmytro Kuleba has resigned.

Speaker Ruslan Stefanchuk said on his Facebook page that Kuleba’s resignation request will be discussed by lawmakers at the next plenary meeting.

The development comes after Russia launched one of the deadliest attacks on Ukraine.

The foreign minister's resignation came as at least seven people were killed and 35 injured in an overnight strike in Lviv.

A child and a medical worker were among the dead and others are in critical condition.

The attack happened a day after two ballistic missiles blasted a military academy and nearby hospital in Poltava, killing more than 50 people & wounding over 200.
