Over 300 passengers of a US cruise ship are down with an unidentified sickness.
The passengers of the infamous Ruby Princess cruise ship, which made headlines in 2020 for several COVID-19 outbreaks, have been ill following a mysterious outbreak during voyage from February 26 to March 5, as per the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
US media reported that the outbreak occured during voyage from Texas to Mexico with at least 284 out of 2,881 passengers and 34 out of 1,159 crew members falling sick.
Patients have been diagnosed with symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea as per the US health regulator with the cause of the outbreak still unknown.
