Israel & the US collaborating for over 10 months to track Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar. Reports said America has given resources such as ground-penetrating radar to Israel. The effort led to the sharing of info on Sinwar, but ‘Israel has not shared intel on US citizens held by Hamas'.

A joint Israeli-US intelligence force was formed to monitor Sinwar's communications. As the Sinwar’s electronic messaging has dried up & has shifted to couriers due to fuel shortages in Gaza Israel Defense Minister Yoav Gallant had pushed for fuel shipments to Gaza to power cell networks. This allowed Israel to eavesdrop on Sinwar's communications in the initial days. Intercepted messages of Sinwar revealed his daily routine, including him monitoring Hebrew media.
