The US government was asked on 20 March 2023 about reports that America shared critical intelligence with India which helped it repel Chinese aggression at the border.
John Kirby, National Security Council coordinator for Strategic Communications at the White House, said that he cannot confirm the reports.
Earlier, the US News had said in an exclusive report that in late 2022, USA provided India with real-time details about Chinese positions and force strength ahead of a military incursion.
"The information included actionable satellite imagery and was more detailed and delivered more quickly than anything the U.S. had previously shared with the Indian military," it said.
"They were waiting. And that's because the U.S. had given India everything to be fully prepared for this. It demonstrates a test case of the success of how the two militaries are now cooperating and sharing intelligence," an unnamed source was quoted as saying by the daily.
