In an unusal incident of robbery in the US, a thief booked a cab and directed the driver to stay put outside the bank while he was inside.
The incident took place in Southfield area of Michigan where the accused looted the bank veiling his face in mask.
This was without prior knowledge of the Uber driver who reportedly told police of not being aware of the bank robbery.
The thief, who has has been identified as Jason Christams robbed the bank at gunpoint and left for his place with the driver, who was waiting outside.
NDTV reported that the 42-year-old thief was later traced by police with the help of the 'getaway car's number plate.
