Indian-American Vivek Ramaswamy, who is hoping to be the Republican party's candidate in the 2024 Presidential election, has made an offer to Tesla and SpaceX chief Elon Musk.

Ramaswamy said that he would like Musk to be an advisor in his administration if he becomes the U.S. president in 2024.

The Indian-American biotech entrepreneur said that Musk laid off 75% of the employees at Twitter, and he wants to do the same with the administrative state if elected.

The remarks were made at a town hall in Iowa on August 25.
