The terrifying moments of a family aboard a Bell 206 helicopter that crashed in Medellín, Colombia, were captured on camera. The video taken by one of the passengers showed their sheer terrified moments, just seconds after the lift-off.
According to reports, the chopper was only meant to be in the air for 12 minutes as part of their fine dining experience.
The chopper started to spin in the air uncontrollably just seconds after lift-of before eventually crashing into the side of a building, which was just a few metres away.
It then plummeted down the side of the building before being caught up on a large communications antenna and left hanging almost upside down in the sky, the Sun news outlet reported.
The video that is doing rounds on the internet shows people panicking and video-calling their families. All six people onboard the helicopter survived the ordeal. No injuries were reported.
The chopper service was part of a dining experience offered by Hangar, an aviation-themed restaurant located in Medellín.
