A high school student has been charged in the US after allegedly slapping his female school teacher during class. A video that has surfaced on social media shows the student slapping the teacher with extreme force, twice.
The incident occurred at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Police said the student, who is a minor, has been charged for misdemeanour assault on a government official and for communicating threats.
In the viral clip, the teen was seen wearing a grey hoodie and pants, standing right in front of the teacher, who was sitting on a chair in the classroom.
The teacher, however, did not react to the assault. “Do you think that affected me anyway,” the teacher calmly responded.
“Want me to hit you again?” the student asked her.
“I don’t want it,” the teacher replied, just before getting struck again.
“The f–k’s wrong with you, what you gonna do, still sit in that chair ’cause you a b***h. Ain’t nobody even coming, you got slapped,” shouted the student.
“B***h go back to teaching,” he added.
The video, said to be captured by a student in the class, shows other students laughing at the teacher.
