The group reportedly dates back to Soviet Union days when it was founded in 1948 by a Russian dancer named Nadezhda Nadezhdina, who was famous for this floating dance while wearing long robes.
The floating steps may appear smooth and easy, but they actually require one to bear pain, control and steadiness.
