In what has been dubbed as the world's first, a Polish pilot safely landed his modified aircraft on the narrow helipad of the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai.
The landing has been marked as a feat due to the limited width of the helipad's circumference, which is about 27 metres.
Red Bull Motorsports which shared the daring stunt video have hailed it as the world's first. Pilot and aerobatics expert Luke Czepiela from Poland reportedly did 650 practice landings before the attempt. It's also learnt that he’s the first pilot to land on the helipad and had been preparing for the challenge for two years.
The video shows the plane touching down on the narrow helipad, and after initial hiccups, the plane comes to a halt and takes off from there.
