A retired doctor in London has impressed netizens with her fluent Bengali speaking skills. Shared by Halima Khan, the viral clip shows Dr Anna Livingstone interacting in Bengali with reporters.
According to Khan, Livingstone learned Bengali in the 80s to understand her patients because there were no interpreters back then.
Khan also requested the Limehouse area MP Apsana Begum to give the doctor an award for her exceptional contribution to humanity.
