Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President XI Jinping shared a frame as leaders of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa posed for a photograph at the BRICS summit in Johannesburg.
The photograph was taken before the open plenary session. While South African President Cyril Ramaphosa stood in the centre, Modi and Xi Jinping stood on his either sides.
At the two ends were Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov. Russian President Vladimir Putin is attending the summit virtually.
