Russia-Ukraine Crisis : As distressing and tragic visuals from Ukraine flood the internet, here's one that exemplifies the human cost of war.

Newborn infants from the neonatal intensive care unit at a children’s hospital in Dnipro, in eastern Ukraine, were moved into a makeshift bomb shelter on a lower level of the building on Thursday as Russian missiles started landing on Ukraine.

The heart wrenching video posted by the New York Times showed a number of newborns cramped into makeshift beds in a makeshift bomb shelter as Russian forces advanced into their country.

There were reports of thousands of Ukrainians fleeing the Russian assault on their country.

UN has said that at least one lakh Ukrainians have fled their homes with several thousand crossing into neighbouring countries.
