The Northern Lights returned to the skies of Iceland on Monday with a bright green light show.
The Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, appears most prominently from around November to February.
The ethereal light display also known as Aurora Borealis has been seen across Scotland, Norway, Iceland and other countries this year – with some stunning visuals coming from the event.
Northern Lights is a phenomenon which happens when charged particles from solar storms travel towards Earth and react with atmospheric gases.
