WATCH: Pakistani actor apologises for polluting river after backlash

Pakistani actor Resham has apologised after she was slammed for throwing garbage into a river. She was at the spot to feed the fish before heading to a charity event.

Taking to Instagram, Resham said she will not repeat the mistake emphasising that it was not intentional.

In the video posted by Resham on her social media, she can be seen throwing plastic into the river after feeding bread and meat to the fish. 

Soon after the video went viral and the actor faced netizens' ire for her 'insensitivity' towards environment. 

The video was recorded when the actor was reportedly on her way to a flood affected region in Pakistan, prior to which she stopped by a bridge on the Jindi river to feed the fish.
