Pakistan Minister Marriyum Aurangzeb was recently heckled on London streets allegedly by overseas supporters of Imran Khan-led PTI
The group accused her of living-off on Pakistan tax payers’ money. They criticized her for paying foreign visits at a time when the country was dealing with one of its worst floods, that has claimed over 1100 lives.
In the video, several people can be seen questioning her at a shop as she silently listens to them while sipping coffee.
Responding to the video, Pakistan daily ‘The Dawn’ reported that the people huddling arounf Aurangzeb were former PM Khan’s supporters. Several ministers of the current regime in Islamabad reportedly also extended their support and lauded her for her ‘grace and composure’ in the face of hate.
Aurangzeb is currently in London, representing her country as the member of Pakistan delegation for the 77th session United Nations General Assembly.
