The internet was in for a treat when a Twitter user shared a blooper video of the last moon landing which took place in 1972.

The Apollo 17 mission to the moon saw a lot of exploration of the lunar surface by astronauts who also brought back samples for further research of Earth's satellite.

The viral video shows astronauts taking a tumble as they walk on the moon's surface. With gravity much lower on the moon, an everyday action like walking can also pose a challenge as is seen in the video.

Six missions landed humans on the moon, beginning with Apollo 11 in 1969 and concluding with Apollo 17 in 1972.

The US is aiming to put the next humans on the moon in the year 2025 as part of its Artemis programme.
