World Wide Web turns 30!

Today marks the 30th Birthday of the World Wide Web, an invention that changed the world forever! Computing legend Tim Berners-Lee created the Web on 12 March 1989. He originally conceptualised it for sharing research data and introduced basic ideas that would eventually give way to HTML, URL, HTTP. And just like that, the internet was born. The first website in the world was dedicated to the World Wide Web project itself and was hosted on Berners-Lee's NeXT computer. Pretty cool right? Even Google is celebrating the World Wide Web turning 30 with this animated doodle. Today over 4 billion people across globe use the internet and its all thanks Tim Berners-Lee visionary idea.
