According to a report by Canalys, Xiaomi has overtaken Apple and bagged the top spot in the global wearables market for Q2 2021. However, Apple retains pole position when talking about just the smartwatch market.
Boosted by the success of the Mi Band 6, Xiaomi captured 19.6% of the wearables market in Q2 2021, while Apple came second with 19.3%. Huawei, Fitbit, and Samsung make up the top 5.

Apple remains the undisputed leader in the smartwatch segment, however, with 31.1% market share, towering over the 2nd-placed Huawei’s 9%. Garmin, Samsung, and Xiaomi round up the top 5 smartwatch manufacturers worldwide.
