With the festive season ongoing, there are a host of big releases on OTT platforms that will keep you hooked. Here are our top picks for shows and films that you can binge watch this week.
Dhamaka| Netflix
In 'Dhamaka', Kartik Aaryan plays a TV news anchor who uses a terrorist attack to his advantage. Directed by Ram Madhvani, 'Dhamaka' is the remake of a South Korean thriller, 'The Terror Live. Kartik plays the role of a journalist, Arjun Pathak who gets a call from a terrorist on his radio show, which opens up the possibility of him returning to his television fame to reclaim his lost glory. 'Dhamaka' also stars Mrunal Thakur and Amruta Subhash in key roles.

Squad| Zee 5
'Squad' marks the debut of actors Rinzing Denzongpa and Malvika Raaj. Veteran actor Danny Denzongpa's son, Rinzing lives up to his action persona. Malvika Raaj played the young Poo in Karan Johar's film 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham'. Directed by Nilesh Sahay, 'Squad' narrates the thrilling story of an STF squad tasked with the responsibility of protecting the granddaughter of a renowned scientist, who holds the blueprint of a lethal cyborg programme.

Tiger King Season 2| Netflix
'Tiger King' returns for a second season on Netflix, and the show is aptly titled 'Murder, Mayhem, and Madness'. The first season ended with Joe Exotic, aka Tiger King, the operator of a big cat park in Oklahoma, being arrested for hiring men to murder his rival — Carole Baskin and for violating wildlife laws. The new season picks up right where it left off. It also explores what happened to Carole Baskin's missing husband, Don Lewis, who vanished in 1997 and was declared legally dead in 2002.
The Wheel of Time-Season 1| Amazon Prime Video
If you are a 'Game of Thrones' fan, then 'The Wheel of Time' is right up your alley. The series adapts 14 fantasy novels written by Robert Jordan. The story spans thousands of years, that involves a great hero called 'the Dragon' and an evil entity called 'the Dark One'. The first three episodes of 'The Wheel of Time' season 1 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video on November 19, following which one episode will drop weekly.
The Shrink Next Door| Apple TV
'The Shrink Next Door' is an eight-episode web-series which stars Hollywood biggies like Will Ferrell and Paul Rudd in the lead roles. The show is based on a true story, which chronicles the scary relationship between Dr. Isaac Herschkopf and his ostensible patient, Martin Markowitz. 'The Shrink Next Door' is currently streaming on Apple TV.
