You will be spoilt for choices as this weekend brings you tons of entertaining shows and films to add to your binge watch list. Check out what’s releasing on the OTT platforms.

The Suicide Squad | HBO Max

'The Suicide Squad' is a new take on the motley band of villains from James Gunn, the director of 'Guardians of the Galaxy'. The movie will see the squad being recruited by Amanda Waller on a mission to destroy a Nazi-era prison and laboratory. Along the way, they run into some massive obstacles including Starro, the telepathic, skyscraper-tall starfish. While most of the cast is old, Margot Robbie is returning as Harley Quinn and newcomers to the team will include John Cena as Peacemaker, Idris Elba as Bloodsport, David Dastmalchian as Polka-Dot Man and Alice Braga as Sul Soria. However, HBO Max is not available in India, DC fans can check out the movie in selected theatres in some cities where the state government has allowed cinemas to re-open. 

Aftermath | Netflix
The Winther brothers horror-thriller 'Aftermath', starring Ashley Greene and Shawn Ashmore, is all set to entertain you. Based on an actual event, 'Aftermath' follows the story of a young couple looking to save their marriage when they discover an amazing deal on a home with a questionable history. Hoping the new home will give them a fresh start, they take the deal, but quickly find that their troubles have only just begun.

Navarasa | Netflix
Produced by Mani Ratnam and Jayendra Panchapakesan, ‘Navarasa’ brings a huge ensemble of stars and directors together for nine short stories. The stories will be based on nine emotions-anger, compassion, courage, disgust, fear, laughter, love, peace and wonder. Arvind Swami, Suriya, Siddharth, Vijay Sethupathi, Prakash Raj, among others are playing prominent characters in this anthology. Earnings from the ‘Navarasa’ will be used for those impacted by Covid-19. 

Dial 100 | ZEE5

Manoj Bajpayee and Neena Gupta-starrer 'Dial 100' is all set to keep you on the edge of your seat. The crime thriller has Manoj Bajpayee in the role of police officer Nikhil Sood, while Neena Gupta portrays the role of Seema Pallav, a grieving mother, seeking revenge for the unfortunate death of her son. The movie shows sequence of events that take place over one night, where one call transforms everyone’s lives. Directed by Rensil D'Silva, 'Dial 100' also stars Sakshi Tanwar in a pivotal role. 

Hit and Run | Netflix
The Netflix action thriller 'Hit & Run' tells the gripping story of one man who is on a mission to discover the truth about the love of his life. The nine-episode series follows the story of a tour guide who is taking care of his young daughter and his American wife. His life is good until the day his wife is killed in a horrific hit-and-run crash on her way to the airport to go to New York. His devastation and grief soon morph into rage when he realizes it was no accident.
