Amazon Prime Video has a big release 'Sardar Udham' this week, in which Vicky Kaushal essays the lead role. The film charts the heroics of revolutionary Udham Singh, known for the assassination of Michael O Dwyer in London, who was behind the Jallianwala Bagh Massacre on April 13, 1919. From planning to execution, the movie offers glimpses of Udham Singh's meticulous operation, after which he was put behind bars, tortured by cops, but remained steadfast on his plan. He was finally tried and convicted of murder and hanged in July 1940.

'Rashmi Rocket' is a sports-drama in which Taapsee Pannu plays Rashmi, a sprinter from a small village in Gujarat's Rann of Kutch, who is all set to bring glory to the nation because of her exceptional talent. However, she is stopped in her tracks, as she fights for her identity, after a failed gender test. The film dives into the subject of gender testing in sports which impacts the careers of many sportswomen, both in India and abroad. The film also stars Priyanshu Painyuli, Abhishek Bannerjee and Supriya Pathak in key roles.

Vidyut Jammwal is back with yet another stunning action film titled 'Sanak'. The film revolves around Vivan who struggles to keep his love story alive, after his partner Vanshika is diagnosed with a heart disease. While the two promise to return to their happy lives once she gets operated on, things get messy when the hospital is attacked by terrorists. In quintessential Vidyut style, he becomes the one-man army that takes down the entire gang. The film also stars Neha Dhupia as the main cop leading the operation.
