Chinese smartphone maker ZTE has unveiled the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition smartphone. This is a limited edition version of their ZTE Axon 30 Ultra flagship smartphone.
The phone is meant to celebrate the success of China’s space agency, which has recently sent an orbiter and lander to Mars, and sent three Chinese astronauts, called taikonauts, to the Chinese space station.
The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset, and features a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display, with a 144hz fast refresh rate. The smartphone packs a whopping 18GB LPDDR5 RAM, which can use the RAM expansion feature to go up to 20GB RAM. It also comes with a spacious 1TB of fast UFS 3.1 storage.
For images and videos, the ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition gets a quad rear camera setup at the back. The phone sports a 64MP primary camera, a 64MP wide lens, and a 64MP ultra-wide lens, along with an 8MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. On the front, it gets a 16MP selfie camera.
The smartphone runs on MyOS 11, based on Android 11. Keeping the lights on is a 4,600mAh battery with 66W fast charging support.
The ZTE Axon 30 Ultra Aerospace Edition is priced at around ₹77,600 for the 18GB + 1TB model in China. There are no plans for availability in other countries, including India, yet.
