Reindeer herders in the Russian Arctic discovered an Ice Age cave bear with its teeth and nose intact! A team of scientists from the North-Eastern Federal University (NEFU) in Yakutsk, Siberia, confirmed the discovery and called it 'groundbreaking'. The discovery is of 'world importance' as an entire carcass has been found! The University will now research the specimen, which was found on the Lyakhovsky Islands. Experts believe this species went extinct approximately 15,000 years ago. Some analysis suggests that the bear is between 22,000 and 39,500 years old!
