Ace Indian designer Manish Malhotra, along with four other leading designers has come together for Condé Nast India's 'Behind The Mask’ campaign to help Indian artisans. The campaign aims to raise funds for craftspeople severely affected by the pandemic and build awareness about the need to wear masks. Malhotra created 4 protoypes of masks, each pays a tribute to a different era of Bollywood. The first mask celebrates the 1940s and 1950s, taking inspiration from timeless classics like Mughal-e-Azam. The second and third designs, celebrate the 1990s and 2010 respectively. The last design takes inspiration from 2020 and celebrates the new wave of talent in Indian cinema and honours women. The masks are available for sale on Myntra.
