More than 60% Indians will continue to avoid restaurant food: survey

Sep 15, 2020 16:50 IST

Nearly three months after the government allowed restaurants to reopen their doors, only 2% say they have visited a restaurant in the last couple of months, according to a survey by LocalCircles with 33,000 respondents. 34% of the respondents said they plan to eat restaurant food in the next two months. Of which, only 3% say they will visit eateries in person frequently and 6% say they will visit a few times. The remaining 22% say they don't plan to visit but will be ordering food from restaurants whereas a whopping 64% said they have no plans of either visiting or ordering from a restaurant in the next 60 days.
