Chennai Super Kings' road to the 13th edition of the IPL hasn't been a smooth one and it seems to get more bumpy. While pacer Deepak Chahar and 11 other members of the CSK camp recovered from Covid-19, Ruturaj Gaikwad is yet to undergo his 2 mandatory tests. After which he will have to undergo cardiovascular and lung function tests to prove his fitness. Once cleared, the youngster would only be available for selection after a week. As things stand, Gaikwad will most likely miss the IPL opener vs the Mumbai Indians and a few games following that. The 23-year-old had tested positive for Covid-19 along with 12 other members of the CSK contingent last month.
