Saudi Arabia has announced that its travel restrictions will be fully lifted from January 2021. Starting from September 15th, there will be a partial lifting of restrictions to allow some international air travel. Those allowed to travel on September 15th are military and public employees, diplomats and families, people in need of foreign medical treatment and students studying overseas. Saudi Arabia had one of the strictest lockdowns, closing its airports on March 21st. It cancelled the Hajj pilgrimage to outside visitors, holding a smaller one for people within Saudi Arabia.
