The day one of e-Auction of gifts and mementos received by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has seen huge bids being lodged

The equipments gifted to PM Modi by Indian Olympians and Paralympians have been put up for auction for the 'Namami Gange' project.

On the first day, Neeraj Chopra and Lovlina Borgohain's javelin and boxing gloves respectively have fetched the highest bids

As per the figures on the official website where the products are being e-auctioned, Neeraj's javelin has seen a bid of INR 10 crore so far, with 19 days still to go. Boxer Lovlina Borgohain, who had won a bronze medal in the Tokyo Olympics, had given her pair of gloves to PM Modi. Lovlina’s gloves have also fetched a whopping bid of Rs. 10 crores already.

While the base price of Neeraj's javelin was INR 1 crore, Lovlina's gloves were available for a base price of Rs. 80 lakh

The auction started on the birthday of PM Modi will run for  total of 20 days
