Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is having his 'told you so' moment as Navjot Singh Sidhu resigned from Punjab Congress chief post on Tuesday.

Amarinder was quick to react to the latest development of the party in the poll bound sate. He tweeted to write that he had warned Sidhu is not a stable and fit man for the border state of Punjab.

Captain and Sidhu have been at loggerheads and the infighting looks poised to be a problem for the party ahead of the 2022 polls.

Recently, Singh, while resigning as the CM, had also said that he would fight 'tooth and nail' to oppose Sidhu's candidature for the CM post.

Meanwhile, Amarinder Singh will be in in Delhi on Tuesday to reportedly meet BJP President JP Nadda and Amit Shah. Amid speculations on whether Singh will quit party to join the saffron camp, his close aide said the visit is only personal and that too much is being read into his Delhi visit.
