Ambani bomb scare case: Sachin Vaze 'seized his housing society's CCTV footage'

The National Investigation Agency is probing why the Mumbai Crime Intelligence Unit (CIU) seized the digital video recorder (DVR) from the residence of Sachin Vaze, the police officer arrested in the Mukesh Ambani bomb scare case.

The NIA has recovered a letter, dated February 27, written by Assistant Police Inspector Riyaz Qazi of CIU to procure the DVR of the Thane residential building where Vaze lived.

The letter mentioned that the CIU was investigating the case and it needed CCTV and DVR for further probe into the bomb scare case.

The CIU team reportedly took two DVRs from the building. API Riyaz is also being questioned by the NIA.
